Selby’s popular Turkish Barber’s Shop is part of a chain of similar establishments across North Yorkshire.

They wanted a series of short, impactful social media ads to run on Facebook and Instagram, showing what they do, and putting across a cool, modern, desirable image. Each one was to have a different style, so they could measure the effectiveness of each ad, and then focus on the most popular.

I spent an afternoon with the team and a group of volunteer models getting footage of all of their services including hot steam shaves, nose-hair waxing and flame on the ears.

Produced in portrait format, the final videos made use of a range of creative visual effects, on-trend colour grading and catchy music.
