About Me

I graduated from Leeds University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Broadcasting (Hons) – a course jointly run by the BBC which included extensive training in TV production.
I then worked for many years within the radio industry, most recently at York’s Minster FM, where I was initially a presenter, before becoming Digital Content Controller in 2016.
During my time in radio, I also worked extensively on stations’ visual branding, brand identity, website design and video production.
In my spare time, as a lover of nature and the great outdoors, I’m often to be found running, walking or cycling through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, tending to my honeybees or chickens, or walking our daft labradoodle.
