The Biorenewables Development Centre, part of the University of York, works to develop new, innovative and environmentally-friendly technologies, often in partnership with other organisations and companies.
I’m proud to have been working with them for several years, producing video content to highlight and explain their exciting and revolutionary work.
The video above shows how they’ve been working with several partners to optimise the process of growing micro-greens for salads using so-called ‘vertical farming’.
The video below focuses on the H2Boost project, of which the BDC was a main partner, which has been producing hydrogen gas from waste matter in a carbon neutral process.
It’s been fascinating to see the work the BDC and their partners are involved in, and wonderful to be able to explain the science behind their projects in straightforward language for a wider audience to understand.
