Round Our Way is an organisation which highlights the everyday, tangible effects climate change is having on our communities.

I’ve now worked on two stories for them, both of which have been real eye-openers to how our changing climate is already causing problems to our local communities.

One is about how more frequent flooding and wetter weather conditions are causing problems to farmers, ruining crops and threatening food supplies. The other focuses on Whitby Town Football Club which is seeing more matches cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch, costing them money and putting their future as a club at risk.

Both stories received extensive coverage in the media.
